Our student residence is perfectly located for competitive or amateur athletes. We have many sports facilities in the direct vicinity, which we would like to introduce to you here 🙂
Ludwig Frank Sports Complex
The Ludwig-Frank sports complex is located about 100 metres from the residence hall and includes a 400m track with an indoor football pitch, a basketball court and a football court.
Available are:
– 400m running track
– Long jump pit
– Shot put area
– Basketball court/ Handball court
– Soccer Court
– Football pitch
The sports field is looked after by two caretakers from Monday to Friday and is always happy to welcome active sportsmen and sportswomen 🙂
Dutzendteich
The asphalt paths around Dutzendteich not only offer the opportunity for long walks, but are also perfect for cycling tours or inline skating.
The jogging enthusiasts among you can put together routes individually and take a stretch break on the Silberbuck 🙂

Furthermore, there is a skate park and a basketball court at Dutzendteich.
To play beach volleyball, the associated court at Dutzendteich also offers an optimal opportunity 🙂
The court is open to the public and can be used free of charge. It is located at the Silbersee (Alfred-Hensel-Weg).
Stadionbad
The Stadionbad is about 23 minutes‘ walk from our hall of residence.
Facilities include:

– 2 diving boards 2 pieces (1m and 3m)
– 3 diving towers (5m, 7.5m, 10m)
– Attraction pool (20.37m x 22m)
– Non-swimmer pool (17m x 22m)
– Swimmer’s pool (50m x 22m)
– Diving pool (15m x 22m)
– 3 paddling pools (20m x 7m, 9m x 2.9m and a „semi-circle“ pool with a 4.9m radius)
– as well as a slide, current channel and bubble loungers.
